CASE On-Campus Experience

The CASE On-Campus Experience is a multi-day summer on-campus experience. Eligible CASE Scholars are invited to campus for an immersive learning opportunity focused on service to the community. Students who participate in the on-campus experience will be named CASE Service Scholars and awarded an additional $2,000 scholarship, contingent upon their acceptance and matriculation to Mercer University.

Marketing Essentials

Developing Your Marketing Toolkit

Successful marketing is all about strategy! Learn the tools necessary to leverage unique value offerings in today's business environment. This experience will provide hands-on experience in practicing the techniques necessary for marketing success.

Adaptive Technology

This experience is focused on adaptive technology efforts and students will work in pairs to create a powered dice roller and a momentary button that is compatible with other adaptive technology devices. Students complete a card and take a picture of themselves with the dice roller and button. The card and photo will be included with the dice roller and button when we distribute them to our pediatric physical therapy contacts.

What do Plagues, Exotic Vacations, and Biohazards have in Common?

All of these factors affect human health. Public health professionals work with health care, researchers/scientists, government agencies, private organizations, and the general public to create opportunities for healthier living. There are infinite ways to influence healthy lives, and we’ll learn more about those as we explore plagues, biohazards, and exotic vacations.

Be Like the Fox

Wordly Advice in Machiavelli's The Prince

This course will introduce students to a Great Books-style discussion through an examination of excerpts from Machiavelli's The Prince. Students will work together to bump against the mystery of Machiavelli's masterpiece and listen to a craft talk about what it means to do research on such texts.
